Quail eggs that are on day 28 of incubation, I opened one yesterday and the quail inside was still alive.

Quail have been incubating for 28 days. I opened one of the fuller eggs to find the quail inside was still alive. It’s 100 eggs and none have hatched to this point. Do we continue to wait?

That's way too long. Did you put a seperate, calibrated thermometer in the incubator? What species?
