Quail eggs

Just got some quail eggs sent to me. Got them today. Going to let them set for a couple of days then put them in the incubator. Never hatched quail. But going to go look it up. Hope this works. Anyone here hatch them?

It is better to put them into the incubator as soon as they are at room temperature. There is a penalty for storage time that is not made up by resting. If you think they traveled hard, you can incubate them without turning for a couple of days.

I have read that quail eggs do better in shipping so I would set them and turn them right away

Here ya go... I did a thread on hatching shipped quail eggs. I gave detailed instructions on how I set my incubator up. I also recommend incubating immediately.
