Quail eggs

They have laid 9 eggs so far. This is a first for me. I hope they sit.

Love the color of your birds. Are these her first eggs? If they are she might not sit because she is still young, especially if she has nine eggs already built up. My buttons never had a clutch bigger than 6 at a time. Don't give up but don't let them keep piling up either so when she does sit you don't have a mix of old and new eggs under there. Good luck!

Yes her eggs, also their first. This is new to me she has been laying an egg a day. How do I keep them from laying more. If I start taking them away won't she keep laying. Will she stop when she has what she thinks is a full clutch? I've read 7 to 13. Not sure what to do.
