Quail Emergency

I have had my Coturnix quail for about 2 months and I have noticed that she has a big bump on her leg.She hasn't been able to walk properly for two weeks and the swelling has gotten worse.We have tried our best to make the swelling to stop,but her leg has not gotten better.We are very worried,and need help to find out what is wrong with her.Please help!

Can you post a picture of the leg?

How do you keep your quail....on wire in a pen? What is the ratio of roo to hen?

The reason I ask is if the ratio is off and you have one male mating with one female and they are on wire, she is going to become injured with with his weight on her, over mating her and he can hurt her in lots of ways, this leg swelling being one of them.

So more information and some pics will help.
