Where are y’all getting your quails feed at I haven’t seen it at all much at tractor supply

I go to our local grain elevator and buy it. They sell both starter and layer feed for almost 50% less than Tractor Supply.

We finally got a tractor supply here in No Cal and they only carried it for about the first couple months, apparently I was the only one buying it. I suggest going to a local feed store and talking to someone, if they know you will be a regular customer they will stock it for you, it's what I did and it's been a really good relationship. Just make sure they understand you need a higher protein feed.

I get mine directly from Hunt & Behrens (they're in town) or if they're closed, I'll get Bar Ale feed from another local feed store. It helps to live in chicken capital.

At my new place, I'll be getting it from a place called The Grange that is a farmer's co-op. I'm hoping that they'll be able to order the Hunt & Behren's game bird feed for me, but if not, they carry the Purina. The quail poop smells so bad when they eat the Purina, though.
