If these are the cups from rentacoop I adore them. It gets really hot where I am and I see the girls kinda mouth the water like ducks when it's hot out. I see a lot of people saying they're hard to clean but I just swirl a bottle brush in the cup, then invert the cup to dump the dirty water. Super easy!

Yes, these are rent a coop. I like their design. What size do you use? (Gallon, quart etc)

I don’t use that setup exactly, but I buy rent a coop nipples and attach them to large,(gallon usually), jugs. I find a gallon lasts 10-12 birds about 2 days, then it’s getting low, closer to the nipple level. But in the winter they choose to eat a lot of snow, and in the summer they have wading pools to play and drink in, so their water bottle use varries.

Thank you. That is very helpful.

So my set up is a bit unconventional. I have just the cups held on to the cage mesh with the wingnut that comes with the cups. Then I have irrigation tubing running from the cups to a five gallon bucket that I fill with maybe four inches of water or so at a time.

For a feeder I did something similar to the photo below, but I used a bigger sturdier container with snap clasps for the lid. Think the holes are 1-1/4" It reduced the amount of spilled food significantly over the bottle feeders.

Water is bucket with poultry nipples. Put it in, tapped a couple to leave a water droplet, and the birds figured it out right away.
