Quail flew away :(

Hello,
My quail flew away. I live in a neighborhood.. She flew into some house, and I have no clue which..
Any help?

They don’t usually go broody. Some will and some won’t, and some literally half ass it haha. My broody will sometimes sit on them and lean over and they aren’t covered, they’re just really flakey at it.

Hold out your hand with her favorite treats in it, and call out her name, and yell that you have treats, maybe she will come back.

Oh, so sorry! Maybe a friendly neighbor will bring her back? Again, sorry that happened! I've had birds fly away.

Its okkay. I think she's just a goner.. Non of my neighbors knew we had quail. I just be getting fertile eggs pretty soon though, so..yay?

I clip the right wing of each bird before they go outside, that way if they do get up and over the pen sides, they don’t get far. I’ve had many fly the coop, and none have been lost.

But- Say, I dont have my incubator yet, and my quail has a fertile egg, how do I get her to go broody and sit on it..?

I wasn't ever able to find any treats my quail liked sadly. Nor did I name her, Because, it is just to many names to remember

Oh, so sorry that happened! Maybe ask around? I have no idea! Never raised quail.

Most of our neighbors hate us, because of all our birds. I would, but most of them are also at work.

Out of 15 that have flown away, we have recovered 3, one of which we found dying of heatstroke. Unfortunately when they fly away, they usually don't come back
