Quail food portions

So I have three pet quails and I was wondering if I should just leave the food out or if I should only give them portions and what should the portions be? the quails are 3 weeks - 4 weeks old.

Any advice is appreciated!

Give them as much as they want to eat. I keep food available for my birds at all times.

I do the same. I'm always afraid if I didn't and was running late or something they they wouldn't have food. I just fill the feeder each morning and if it needs it at night.

My quail and diamond dove have a plant water dish that I pour their food in, with an aquarium bridge seperating the grit/treats from the main food. The dove also has elevated bowls.

There's also a bird feeder filled with seed for them to peck at as well.
