Any pictures of a quail brooder? I want to make one & am starting gathering pictures always gets me going ...I NEED PICTURES OF A QUAIL BROODER ..

I use a long "super pet cage" meant for guinea pigs and rabbits

Then i clamp and set up the heat lamp inside of it.

Yes that sounds like what I do. I have been thinking on BUILDing a cage JUST for a brooder but I have several ideas thats why I wanted to see a couple pictures of some that are being used & what the good and bad points are so I can tweek mine

My quail chicks love to run... they are fast.... and to give them places to hide I put in paper towel rolls, and the smaller jiffey pots with a side ripped off for them to hide in.

Nice looking brooder, I use an old snake cage I built for my brother... It is 4x2 with a plexi top that I took apart and replace with he cloth...

i set 100 eggs and at last count i had 89 hatch, so i guess that is a good hatch rate for the first time hatching quail. william
