I’ve been incubating for close to 2 decades - I first started as a kid with friends and Muscovy duck eggs

Later got into chicken

Recently been doing quail - well my 1st hatch was today! 1/22/22

Possibly white silver or golden will have to wait for it to finish drying - looking more white/silver right now

I’ve never hatched quail eggs or any small eggs - and I really didn’t know how it would go

I have them dated from 1-6-22 to 1/13/22 and I’m using a nurture right 360 with a kabob skewer to rotate other eggs without opening

Ive had to open to rotate eggs I can’t reach and to get first hatchling out - I see cracks in 2 others eggs so I turned humidity up to 73% I hope they don’t dry out and I’m super curious to see who else all hatches out

I’ve have never done a staggered hatch with small eggs - interested in doing emu/rhea or turkeys next ! will keep you posted

Here’s a pic of the first one ❤️
