So today the quail are about 20 days old and I decided to sex them to figure out how many I would be keeping and how many needed to be culled. So far it looks like I have about 5 males and 3 females. I tried vent sexing them but, i'm not quite sure what i'm looking for; so I just went by breast color. Looks like I will be making a trip to the butcher in a few weeks :/. Since this is the case I will be incubating another round of quail(possibly Texas A&M) in hopes of having more females for laying
