quail help needed ASAP

Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain :

Are any of them mostly rust-colored on the chest? Does she ever hear any of them making a gargling sound like a cat-call/whistle? If so, then there are males in there. If you gently squeeze around the vent area, a male will secrete a white foam, like shaving cream. Hopefully Niki has a picture for you.. I can't say that I've ever shot a pic of my male's vent...

im working on more (editing them now) to show her the difference in vents. I didnt mention color of the chest because she mentioned a blue egg whichseems to be Tibetan egg color (not always but in my expeirence) so im relying more on coturnix bums ha ha

I am trying to get ahold of my friend but she isn't answering!!!

I have heard noises coming form the quail, and thought it was a weird sound, but I can't remember what it reminded me of at the moment.

What is a tibetan egg?

tibetan is also known as british range...and it comes in several different shades...to almost pure black to cinnamon, to "rosetta":

is this what you've heard?

the ones that are injured have almost perfect circles of feathers missing right above the rump area, and some on their heads.

The majority of this happened in one day.
She came home from work and they were all hurt!

my hen became bald in just a few hours from my roo so its' very possible she has a very active male roo lol (it actually sounds like she may have more than one male but dunno until she is able to check them out)

So I just talked to her and the one with feathers laid an egg today so it isn't a male>

The pic of the tibetan is nothing like what she has>
Hers are two colors, some are very light and others are darker.

the noise reminded me of crickets chirping!!
