I have an injured female quail. She was mated wrong by the male and has a huge chunk of flesh showing. What should I do? What should I feed her? HELP

This happened to my button quail when she was that age and fortunately there hadn’t been any blood drawn yet. You should probably keep her separate for a week or two till her wound heals. I don’t think the male will be mating her as aggressively in a couple weeks but I don’t know for sure. It's on her head. I separated her. She can see and hear them she just can't make physical contact with them. She is a coturnix quail. She is exactly 7 weeks old. In this particular aviary there is one male to 4 females. She's always been his favorite and I think was overmated. He's now mating the other females, but is being gentle.
What if I can't even catch her without hurting her even more. Quail do the things where they tuck in their head and cannon bult out of your hand. She is in a warm and dim enviroment, but I don't think I can rinse her woundI would rinse her would with saline solution to make sure it's clean, then keep her in a warm, dim environment for a day or two. Quail heal quite quickly, and she should be ready to go back to her covey by then.
You will want to watch them carefully to see if the male is over breeding her or if one of the other hens is being a bully.
No she will not die....the less physical contact you have with her the better she'll heal.Is it absolutely nessacary will she die If i don't
In that case, leave her alone. She'll heal. It's basic first aid to make sure a would is clean, but not stressing her too much outweighs the benefits of cleaning the wound in this case. What if I can't even catch her without hurting her even more.
