My Cortunix quail laid an egg that is 2 cm instead of 3.5+ cm. What causes that?

It's snowing here and my pet sitter to give calcium but wanted to ask y'all

It’s just a fairy egg it happens from time to time nothing to worry about.

I find them really cool they can be called fart eggs, fairy eggs or pixie eggs.
