Quail leg issue

You can see one leg is normal, the other is lumpy and swollen appearing. The bottom of the foot looks good, no black spot or anything. Thoughts? The quail is away in a different cage from the others so it's not bothered.

Other than the bit of poo on the foot, it's fine looking.

might be scaly leg mites, do you have other birds? or it had/has a leg injury that is causing the leg to swell. It looks scaly to me though and thats not going to go way on its own. They sell creams with insecticide at the pet store or at the vets. You could try that and see,
