Quail missing feathers

Hey all, one of my quail is missing almost all of its feathers, around 10 to 15 % remain, and with winter coming it is getting colder... any ideaas on what i should do?

Hey all, one of my quail is missing almost all of its feathers, around 10 to 15 % remain, and with winter coming it is getting colder... any ideaas on what i should do?

Do you knit or crochet? Is she the male's favorite? Feed her plenty of protein to grow new feathers. If you don't knit or crochet see about getting her a quail saddle that will protect her from the male pulling her feathers out. There are several people online that make them for chickens. With the right measurements they should be able to make one for a quail.
