Yeah they do, mine loved to hang out in the brush pile cholla branches, or perch up high in them.

you could name then Birdy, just a generic name I use for the ones I get confused with the other ones, i call the look-alikes Birdy.

Yep, sold them to game preserves, restaurants, field trial clubs, and individuals and had quite a few great quail dinners.

Yep, Bobwhites get eaten. I never ate any of mine, but I've eaten Bobwhite and I have to say they are tasty!

Even now, I only have like a handful of my pheasants that have names....my quail still have no name!
