Quail nest

Do you have a broody quail? If the nest was disturbed, they most likely won't be incubated.

I saw a quail leave the nest which is in a cinder block hole, walk around briefly then fly off this morning. Most other times today I did not see any birds, but I did see what looked like a head in the dark hole once. Other times, no. So idk.... I will keep watching and keep on keeping my 5yo away. It's hard not to be out in our backyard tho.
