Quail - Night Vision

Question for quail keepers:
(Sorry if I tag you and you do not keep quail)

Do quail have good night vision?

I am familiar with chickens not having good night vision; however, a question came up today about quail being able to see at night.
I have no experience with quail.

So I need a couple of thoughts from the experts here.

I think they have about the same vision as chickens in low lighting.

Mine didn't move around at night, they stayed put. If they could have seen, I'm sure they would have been at the water stations drinking and pooping in the water all night long...

In my experience, I would say that they don't have good night vision.
I believe this because 1 - They know me, but if I come in at night, they freak out. 2 - If I'm quiet, I can sneak up on them and pick them up before they see me.
