the whites are pretty. Maybe in the spring I'll need a couple of those.




How long does a quail need a heat lamp? At what age does this white on the face start to show up?

Sara, I have some that are going on 9 weeks that I still can't really tell the difference. Unless all three are female.

What are the chances of that??

The Bobwhites take longer to mature - the coturnix you can tell at 3 weeks, but I've never kept Bobwhites around long enough to be able to sex them. Well, til now. I'm keeping my last hatch for my flock.
