I don't know anything about quail. If I have a chick that peeps, it is usually cold or lonely.

My 4 I raised this June were noisy.calm, quiet peeps,, but constantly for weeks.

My single I had a broody Phoenix raise with her chicks was silent, but he didn't know any better since he spoke a different 'language' than the rest of the group.

Some of mine do this, they had everything they needed so I just ignored it

What do you keep them under to stay warm? And the peeping is probably normal. It could be happy or it could be not-happy, stressed.

They just look bruised to me. Think mine hatched a day late had same markings. They walking fine eating pooping whatever
