So this morning on my porch i found a rather young injured California quail. I picked her up cuz it was only 32 this morning, and she was laying on the cold concrete porch. I brought her inside found all but two tail feathers missing, and a very small puncture wound on her leg. I cleaned her wounds as I would have for my other poultry birds and as of right now she's content in a cage of her own. As quails are very secretive normally I dont know must about their care for wounds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
