quail screaming or yelling very loud!!

my female quails are like screaming and shouting when they are about to lay. it's like a mom shouting when she's in labour something like that..can anyone tell me why is this happening with my female quails??!!

Most hens do this when they are laying, and in my experience quails tend to be a bit louder than chickens with their song.

i have a thinking that for them the egg is quite for their body size..it's like every birth is painful
