1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
6 month old male coturnix quail.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Breathing heavy, I was handling him when suddenly a ton of mucus started coming out, held him upside down until it all came out.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
I just found out ten minutes before posting this.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
Not that I can tell, unsure.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
He did get an injured blood feather while cliping his wings yesterday, but bleeding completely stopped w cornstarch.
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Possibly related to the bleeding yesterday after a wing cliping accident.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
It appears as though he has been.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Normal?
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
He and another have been separated from the rest, he was injured when wing cliping, the other had his nose picked at.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I'd prefer to treat my self but wI'll consult a vet if necessary.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
I can't really take a picture of the mucus as it's not happening right now.

Rabbit hutch, Aspen shavings.

keep an eye on em of course look for any sneezing but that is a "fun" fact.
