Quail stopped laying one week

Quail are always happier with more places to hide. Putting the bullies out and reintroducing them as the new birds can help. I had to do that when I was introducing new birds this month. Kept the new birds in a tote inside the pen, when I let them out, I watched and put the two bullies in the tote. When I let the bullies out, everything was fine.

Ok that makes sense. Do you think 2 or 3 days is long enough? Sorry for late response. I'm in UK- different time- and just been out to get a cage from a Free-cycler.

Just to say that after a break of 11 days she laid an egg today! We'll see what happens next. Thanks for all your guidance, much appreciated!

And another egg today (the following day) so looks like she's back on stream. One of the other things I did was to put food and water into the "bedroom" compartment as well as the main area in case the others were not allowing her to get to the food. Any, fingers crossed! And thanks again!
