Whats got me hung up on my orders is you send off a npip letter every single time u move eggs? Its a pain in the neck they wanna track every order of eggs that ships

So another tip and this might not help many but maybe some....
NPIP gives you the ability to ship across state lines however in many states extra requirements are needed. Such as VA or HI and many others you must apply for a permit. So long story short the way I look at it is NPIP give you the authority to ship out of state but does not mean you can ship to any state. Each state has different rules. Most of the info if not all you can find on the NPIP website. Also the inspectors which I just hosted this week on our farm is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Yes I’m certain parts of California we have not shipped to in over a year. Not sure when it will be available again.

Yeah our NPIP inspector keeps giving us updates but it is due to the cock fighting and it is illegally passing the border and they are having major issues containing it.

Sorry. Things have been crazy around the farm the past 5 days but here is a tip from Myshire Farm.....
The main causes for chick fatality (there can be many) but the main causes is....
the food and water source - make sure that for the first week there is a source for both VERY close to the heat source because they do not like to travel from the heat
Another main cause for chick fatality is..
Heat or lack there of. Now you can read that it should start at 99 degrees and drop each day but watch them and they will let you know. If they are all together close to the heat then heat needs to increase, if they are all together away from the heat then it needs to be cooler if they are all over the place and active it is just right!
