Ok, so recently my quail started to lay eggs (YAY!!) and I have a separate cage for my partially tame ones, and they lay eggs too. I have 1 male and 4 females in it. Today, when I was feeding them, I found a large female in the tameish cage, so I just wanted to pet her and I did. She sort of bent down with her head up. I laughed a little and was like what? So first of all , what does that mean? Second, when I took a close look at her, she had this pinkish lump on her beak that no other females had. So what the heck is that? I fear that it's a tumor??
I don't know what it is, so if you could please help me, I would really appreciate it, she's a little sweetheart, and I wouldn't want her to suffer!
