She walks very low on her chest. She doesn't drag her chest, just walk with it nearly touching the ground. Sometimes she looks unbalanced, but doesn't fall. I had a video to show. But it won't upload.
My 3 week old quail has been walking like this for 3 days now. She eats, drinks, poops fine. She doesn't have a pasty bottom. I started giving her the chick probiotics and electrolytes in her water. She eats gamebird starter. Anyone know if this is a head boink? Or disease. She is the smallest of all the chicks. She was born small and stayed small. She feathered out in the same speed as the others. She lives in. 105qt tote with mesh wire and 5 siblings. (I have a second tote ready to move 3 out when I remove them from the heat source)I have them on PDZ, Sand, and recycled paper bedding. Clean the cage 1 time a day. And wash the waterer out 2 x a day. More if needed.
