Quail with an abnormally large/swollen nose

I just saw one of my quail with an abnormally large nose, he's eating and drinking just fine but if its something serious I want to know before its too late.

Here’s the picture: it’s gotten even more swollen but he’s still active and energetic

he was in a pen with a few females but they were getting over-bred so I had recently moved him to a large clear tote container until I could get him more hens, so there wasn't much to rub against.

Since you posted this originally, I had one get a bump on the top of the beak area. It went down on its own, I looked at it and she seemed more distressed by me holding her than by me touching it. I think she probably banged it on the hardware cloth or something and got a little cut, and I think that area has weak skin and high blood flow and just swelled up a little bump.
