Quail with large lump on breast.

Just discovered a large lump on the right hand side of my Japanese quail's breast. It's big. At least 1inch diameter. Has anyone experienced this?

Does it feel/look like it has flesh, fluid or pus inside? Note that pus can get hard to a point where it feels like cheese. If it has pus, it's most likely caused by a local infection and should be punctured to get the pus out.

Hoping that maybe it just pigged out and has a noticeably full crop full of food?
