Good time of day to you all! How can I help my quail?
I have a lovely hen who has gotten some dried poop stuck on her feet. When I took her in for a clean, I discovered that she has hard lumps on her stomach (see photo) and a few on her face and neck, but not very noticeable. I could not remove them gently and I have not tried harder as they appear to be attached to her skin.
She has since spent several days inside in warmth, and it seems that her eye lumps are falling off. She is home hatched and is otherwise in good health and spirits.
How can I help her?
* I think she had feet problems because it rained especially heavily in my area, and it took me a day to clean out the moisture from their aviary as it has gotten quite soggy. Usually I prevent such problems in my flock but circumstances intervened
