Help guys

I have a little quail zipped last night around 9pm. I was expecting him to be out in an hr. I waited and he didn't get out.
Still not out this morning when I got up. he is in their trying to push out. So I open the incubator and took the top off the egg and put him back in. It's 2pm here now and he is still not out. He is chirping and pushing.
At what point shall I help him out ? I'm thinking maybe tonight if he is still not out yet

Also I have chicken eggs in there that's externally pipped. Will it be safe for me to take the quail out to help him ?

Please help

Thank you

Hi! He should have popped out pretty quick after zipping. Is he dried to the membrane? I have a fan incubator, I opened and shut my incubator alot when my chicks were hatching, it didn't impact them. Can you pull him out and check the membrane?

Thanks for the reply
I ended up helping it. Took out the egg and wet with warm water and peeled a little shell off it it popped out of the shell in less than 10 mins after . Wet and skinny lol. He was struggling trying to stand up for a while and tumbling. But seem to be doing fine now.

The chicken egg next to it that pipped had yellow membrane at the pip spot I took that one out too and picked off the pipped spot, put a wet paper towel underneath him and put him back into the Bator. None other shows yellow tho and now the humidity spike to 70 after the quail came out
Hopefully it will help with the other chicken hatches

Great! Keep an eye on him. I gave mine nutri drench and maple syrup for a couple of days. He was really unsteady for a couple of days and now he's just like everyone else.

Yes the rest will be super quick! So fun!

I'm super anxious lol
6 chicken eggs externally pipped out of 23.
I'm little worry about his toes. Looks a little curled when hatched. Hopefully it will just straighten up soon

You might need to make him some shoes and tape them on until they straighten out. Aww! So exciting!
Yes I'm very excited
My first hatch. Second incubation.
I have a chicken pipped but membrane looks a little dry
I have to read up on it tonight and see if i should help or not
