I have 16 coturnix quail, 5 roosters, 11 hens, is this a good number our do i need to cull a couple roosters?

I keep my breeders 1 rooster to 6 hens so I would cull out 3 of the roosters. that would leave you with 1 to 5 and 1 to 6.

they were five weeks yesterday so i could get rid of them and they should start laying soon.

i forgot that i have two texas a&m's with the coturnix so i have 14 coturnixwould you still do the same thing?

So perhaps a stupid question, but I have a pen that will ultimately have 20+ hens in it. I currently have 9 hens and a rooster in the pen and have a second batch of chicks in the brooder. If they are all in the same pen, I can get away with maybe 3 roosters and 20 to 25 hens, correct?
