Does anyone know about where i can get quail chicks, and how to raise quail

You raise quail inside cages. They will escape on you if let free range. Reason I do not have quail. I have no desire to raise caged birds.
Some peeps raise quail in cages inside garage. Others have outdoor coops. Each has its different predator proof requirements.
The size and design of cage is also very important. If not done correctly, quail can fly up and hit their heads on top. Can seriously get hurt. Many choose low cages where quail do not attempt to fly up at all.
Read up more postings in the Quail Forum and you should get a good insight if it is right for you. Don't know your location, so I cant direct you to where to purchase some. Try Craigs List. Your location. I always find all sort of things there. Remember to always follow SAFETY GUIDELINES. when dealing with someone unknown.

I plan on keeping two quail in a cage in my bedroom, and letting them roam around the house like my chickens do (but at separate times)
