Hi, I also have pet quail that I have kept indoors. They're extremely adorable and love to explore however they don't seem to be interested in me or seek out my attention like other bird pets. Are they naturally not tamable or is it my approach. I feed them treats regularly and let them roam my house for at least 45 minutes, 2-3 time a day. my quail still is shy. they are very frightful birds and may never show you the same affection a dog would. i would say semi-tamable. sounds as if they trust you.
