quail

anyone here hatch quail
I am just now learning to hatch. I looked online for affordable starter incubators with good reviews and settled on the Nurture Right 360. I got my first set of eggs in the mail today and according to some research I have done, I am letting them rest on the counter for 8-24 hours while I get my incubator "warmed up" (turned on and heat/ humidity adjusted for quail eggs). My only concern so far is the size of the egg tray, which is made for chicken eggs. I have been looking for an insert for smaller eggs, but so far, no bueno. I'm very excited. I know you probably wanted to hear from an experienced Hatcher, but I couldn't help myself as I am so psyched about this. I plan to post my results, unscientific as they are, just so the info is out there for others. Good luck with your eggs!
