quail

Hi all I have hatched 12 quail, on the 22nd jan. They have all grown well, but as yet no eggs, could I be doing something wrong?

What type of quail do you have?

depend on what quail you have? and they need about 14 hours of light ( I put a light on mine) and you have to have good feed like game bird starter it has like 27 protein .

I was given the eggs, but I believe they are mixed breed, of the large variety

if they are bob white they will have to be 6 to 7 months to start lay in texas a and m they start laying in 6 weeks.
