Hello Chickenfolk!

I'm an aspiring homesteader currently stuck in the city who recently graduated from keeping button quail to Japanese quail, with hopes to be in a situation where I can have chickens, rabbits and goats in the near future (looking to buy land in the next couple of years).

I've got a degree in seabird biology, work in a quirky clothing store, and make art in my spare time. I have a long history of keeping animals of all sort, too many house plants to keep track of and a small container garden starting up on my patio.

I've been a peruser of the forums for many, many years, and even had an account a while back that I never used. I'm hoping this time around to make some connections and learn a few things I can put to use.
