Quails and Chicken Coops

Many people on here say that you can't keep quails and chickens together on account of blackhead. If I was to have two separate coops, is it possible that the disease would spread between them?

Keep them separate and keep all the tools and materials you use working with them separate and wash your hands in between species and you should be fine.
