quails in winter-large numbers

Im in Ajax (Durham) and i got 10 jumbos and 4 button in my basement (Finished).

The buttons lay about 2-4 per day and the jumbos lay 2-3. (I have 3 button hen 1 male, 2 male jumbo and 8 hens) I keep them 14-18 hours, and feed them starter (24%) and for calcium i feed them button eggs, jumbo eggs, and chicken eggs.

I you want jumbos go to Woodville on Sat. If you want the address and website just ask, as i'm tired at the moment.

I got mine from there. The man sells $5 for one or $40 for 10. (Jumbos)

Button i got from this guy on Kijiji (4 for $20 and cage) If you want i can ask if he has more.

Also, question to anyone who can help. I have 8 hens and feed them sufficient protein and calcium but i only get 2-3 eggs per day. And those i have to fine by sifting through the wood shavings. Can you recommend what i should do to make em lay more? ( They are young just started 1-2 weeks ago)

Also one of my button was egg-bound and now her vent is still popped open and the male keeps breeding with her. She smells and has dried blood all over her.I keep cleaning her but to no avail. What should i do?

P.S. Even though i have 1 male for 3 females, people say it's not recommended. And the blood on the quail was not from fighting, but from her egg-boundness. I dunno, all i know is they don't fight (Can you tell me what it is) Also the first egg she layed, we had to manually remove it using Vaseline and ear wax stick.

P.P.S. You need one square foot of space per Quail.
