Quails in winter

I need to know what to do with my a&M quails in winter there my pets and I love them i need to find someone or somewhere to keep them anything will help

I'm in maine. And temporary houseing for winter

you have them in a cage now?
mine live outside in a coop

Well I can't leave them outside in winter there's only two of them and I need info on what to do with them in the wintee

leave them outside, give them hay to huddle in
they can survive just fine in the cold, think rabbit hutch, one place they can escape the elements and wind, another where they can go out and eat/defecate

I don't have a house for them and there's two do you think they will be ok

All they have is a parakeet cage now
