Most people say don't, because it's going to have problems later on. But if you still want to try read the following link:

I have never done it so......good luck!

You should not help the chicks from the shell. There is usually a good reason if a chick doesn’t hatch. Also prematurely helping the chick hatch could cripple or infect it. Remember that after it has made a hole in the shell the chick stops piping for a few hours and rests while its lungs are getting used to the outside atmosphere. Humidity is critical at hatching time and you shouldn’t open the incubator until most chicks have hatched. Don’t allow your curiosity to damage your hatch.

I know I am in the same situation unfortunately this has happened to me before and the ones I helped died because they have to do it themselves otherwise it will be premature and probably be to weak to defend itself from the ones that aren't premature so just leave it.;)

we have never had the humidity level higher that 48 and have always had a good hatch about 75% and once 100% anyway here is a picture of what has happend since my last post
i only helped a tiny bit but what has happend is the quail has flipped around and is pecking out the other side!

Your hygrometer may not be reading correct relative humidity if you can't get it above 48%. You generally need at least 60% for a good hatch.

The little quail has hatched and is completly crazy running around the incubator and talking to the other one's (still in there eggs) we have two more hatching one with a really small little hole and another with a slightly bigger hole should have 3 by the morning also there are quite a few others that have been moving around in there egggs so glad we are getting more than one because the 1st one looks a bit lonely i will send pics when holes are a little bigger and when we put the 1st one under the brooder do you have any idea when to take them out of the brooder cause we are not quite sure with quails thanx for all your help
