How old do Japanese quail need to be before being put in my outside pen and when do they not need a heat lamp
 
The first week they're hatched you should run the brooder at 95*. Lower it by 5 degrees per week for 4 weeks. By that time they should have all their adult feathers. As soon as they have complete adult feathering you can wean them off the light.
 
Hi I'm new here and I'm just trying to figure out why my quail are not laying eggs. I have 3 females in with 1 male. I have my other 5 males separated. They are all about 2.5 months old...does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I'm better at raising chickens lol
 
I'm looking for the best place that ships fertile quail eggs. I'm in Cleveland Texas. I am already hatching 27 Cotunix the jumbo ones.
 
1 question at what age can i take Pharoah quail out of the brooder box and put them in a pen outside? 2nd question i have some of my quail that are bout 3 to 4 months old, when and how can i introduce my 2week quail to them?
