Will do!! We've already got their quarantine spot set up, so I'll keep them separate for a bit more until I get a better feel for what I'm dealing with, but we probably won't do a full month.Sounds like some lucky chickens!!! ❤

Here's some guidelines for a true biological/medical quarantine:We've already got their quarantine spot set up,
Just looks very wet/messy to me, but not abnormal. Have they been drinking a lot of water or eating wet things like melons?View attachment 2782810uh oh. What do you all make of this poop? First I've seen of this kind.
Yeah, I've noticed them drinking a ton since getting here. Good to know that could be all it is.Just looks very wet/messy to me, but not abnormal. Have they been drinking a lot of water or eating wet things like melons?
Sure, I'm happy to give an update! I kept the new chickens quarantined for almost another week and watched them... As they adjusted to our feed and such, their poo got better. I checked them over for mites and other signs of illness. They all looked fantastic, so I decided to end my quarantine earlier for all the reasons people outlined above. They are all doing great!! I'd say they're coming up on 3 weeks all in one coop. No signs of disease in any of my birds, and they are integrating better each day!Any update y’all??
oh and @aart thanks for the (timely for me - right now) article referenced…. (Tip o’the hat).
I am debating a possible situation involving a possible quarantine…(post in here too)
