So I have 2 hens that seem hell bent on always being in this one nesting box. Thought maybe one of them, who I know goes broody a lot, was just that, tomorrow will be day 4 in the cage. The day after I put said been in the cage, the other could care less about the nesting boxes unless she had to lay. Anyone else ever delt with this sort of thing?

Yes I have the best pictures of two or even three in my boxes, but I really feel like they’re talking about me because that usually face the back

I have seen 3 hens in a nest box, dont know how they got in there.
I watched a larger hen toss a smaller girl out of a nest box, the little girl was quit upset. The big girl was gone in minute,"get out of my way child, I have to lay an egg!"

The nest is comfier on the other side? But seriously, this happens all the time! Hens will all want to be in the best nesting boxes and if there's a broody, suddenly everyone will likely want to lay their eggs in there too!
