Why do I live in the land of linoleum? Why do my auctions, antique stores, and flea markets specialize in orange couches and avocado green recliners?

Gorgeous cabinet.

$100????? I'm going to go smother myself in the cushions of my burnt-orange couch. Goodwill here sells crappy dining sets from the 90's for $100. And that's with broken legs.

Eggs4Sale you are cracking me up! I see them way outdated things, too. Ick! Why don't they just burn some of that stuff! I saw this at an antique place, looks like they ripped it right out of an old farmhouse. They were asking like $500.00 for it!

It was way too big for my spot but I liked it. Paint would do wonders for it!

I think I will add some nice angled crown moulding to the top. Looks like there was something there, I see some nail holes. And I want to paint the hardware black. I like the look of black hardware.

If you show another post of an antique cabinet, I'm going to go 'postal' and barrage you all with photos from MY flea markets. Better yet, I'll mail out fabric samples. Unwashed.

I LIVE in an old farm house and there's nothing cool like that in here. Maybe someone ripped the cabinets out to sell them to Scoop.

I live in an old farmhouse, too, and there wasn't anything rustic in here either. The previous owners even ripped out the old wide trim and put in plain Jane trim. The old stuff was probably to die for!
