I have what I think are 9 girlie Silkies and 1 rooster.
I had 3 hens and just got 6 more hens (I think) and 1 rooster this week.
One of the original 3 hens is the only one that lays eggs. She would lay an egg a day.
Now that a rooster has been introduced to my yard, the silkie that had been laying eggs is the only one that the rooster is "going after".
Is this because the others are too young? I am not sure of the ages of any of them.
