Question about Anacona hen

My anacona “hen” has two small growths on the back of her legs. They look like little bubbles and are symmetric. “She” hasn’t begun laying yet. Her comb and wattle and behavior is like a “hen”. Anyone have an idea of what this could be. Unfortunately she is a true anacona and does not like to be caught or held, so I have no picture.

Hard to tell without a picture, but sounds like spur buds. All birds, male and female, have them.

She's a female. No male specific feathering. As sourland wrote, both male and female chickens can get spurs, and that is what the Ancona is developing. Some hens get really big spurs. It just depends on the individual.

She's a pretty girl. I have an Ancona hen and she has some pretty healthy spur nubs but lays me nice big white eggs.

Here's my girl. She just went through a molt and now has much more white feathering than before. You can see her "nubs" in this photo.
