Question about barred rock hen

my Barred rock is about 5-6 weeks old, ( I think), and I noticed she has some feathers starting to grow on legs>
I haven't seen this before in this type of chicken....am I seeing things, or is it possible she is a mix?

it could be a cochin. I honestly have no idea!
I got her rom a feed store and she was labeled as a barred rock, but who knows!
I will take a pic when I can and post it and see what you all think!
It would be kinda cool if she was a cochin!

My feedstore labels those as "Barred Rock Cochins", LOL. Probably you have a Barred Cochin rather than a Barred Plymouth Rock.

yup "she" looks like that last picture....even the comb!
Wow I sure hope she is a hen or else I will have to rehome her!
So for now I will call her a "Shim" until I know for sure!
I was handling "shim" last nite, and the feathers are weird!
There a few on the legs, and one coming off the last toe!
Being an animal groomer, I wanted to pluck it out!
I didn't, but it was tempting!
