Question about Broilers...

Anyone ever kept the red broilers/freedom rangers to adulthood to see how their laying was? Also, can the roosters actually breed hens?
What I'm getting to is, could you keep some of the red broilers and breed them/hatch the eggs? Maybe mix a flock of RIR, BR, EE, and red broilers...you'd have your eggs and your meat right their together.

Ya, you can do it. Result may vary compared to what you started with.... but your going to to get a decent meat bird at 12-14 weeks. It really depends on the rooster you breed them with.... and yes the red broiler roosters can breed naturally.
